Saddle Up And Ride Em Cowboys

This weekend was the annual Wayment Family branding.
Here are some pictures to show you how much fun roping, giving shots,
branding and even castration can be.

Ellie was enjoying mud puddle time, and of course the laffy taffy.
Ben was all about the roping, and Annie helped mark calfs after shots.

Here is my good looking cowboys that like to get there hands dirty for fun.
I thought it was all very entertaining myself, as Bryce would say
"for a city girl".

Welcome Spring, Henry Here We Come!

We are so glad that the sun is out and spring is just around the corner. We already have plans for many trips to Henry, and are looking forward to dips in Lloyd's Hole and vacations as a family.

We are all doing great, staying busy, and looking forward to summer vacation and having the kids home from school.

Bryce and I are busy with the three kids, but still make time to work out together in the mornings and go on "dates" whenever we can.

Annie is growing by leaps and bounds, really turning into a young lady, loves spending time with her horse, and wants to start dance this summer.

Ben is enjoying selling chicken eggs to Grandpa, is into so many things, many of which are not so good (flooding toilets at school). Sarah is probably going to be nominated for PTA president to keep Ben enrolled. He is totally excited for baseball this summer, and loves to rope with his Dad.

Ellie is busy playing with Olivia as much as she can, loves it when her brother and sister come home from school, and is developing quite a personality! (SASSY) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will keep on the life jacket 24 hours a day at the Lake!

Don't Fall Off Of Your Chair...I'm Posting Again!

I know what you are all thinking, its pretty pathetic that my last post was in June, I have failed miserably in the blogging world but I am committed to doing better! The holidays were wonderful, spending time with family, being grateful for all we have been blessed with, and trying to keep up with the kids. We did have family pictures taken in October, so here are a few of our favorites.

This is one of my favorite pictures, it was taken in an orchard near our house, this is one of our horses "Buck", and I think Bryce is a really "HOT" cowboy! We have been married for 12 years and I am still in love with him more than ever!

Annie just turned 10, she is busy riding horses, attending rodeos, and playing with friends. She is an excellent horseman and has been practicing hard for a rodeo in St George next month. She is extremely fast at goat tieing, I had no idea there was such a sport, but I am learning to be a cowgirls mom!

Ben almost got kicked off the bus this month, what else can I say about my little handful. He is quite a character, keeps teaching his Dad patience, but has a big heart and is so kind to his sisters. He is learning to breakaway on his horse Harley, another sport I was unaware of, and is doing very well.

Ellie turned 2 and is a pleasure to have in our home. She is learning to ribbon pull from her goat "Daisy" and loves to be around the horses. She loves sledding with Ben and being outside.

Welcome Spring!

We are happy that summer is just around the corner, the kids are out of school and constantly out in the fresh air.

Our sweet Ellie, she loves animals and is a happy-go-lucky little toddler. She is getting so big and independent, wants to do everything her older brother and sister are doing. Here she is with a baby goat, giving it a big kiss!

Ben is a great kid, keeps his mom and dads hands full, but is full of energy and a lot of fun. He loves being outside, his pet chickens, and participating in the youth rodeo they hold once a month. Here he is getting ready to get on a calf and try and hold on for 8 seconds!

I love this picture of my beautiful Annie, she is growing up so fast, and is a very responsible young lady. Her heart belongs to horses and roping, so she is very excited for this summer. She is also doing very well in gymnastics and will be taking a couple of advanced power tumbling classes this summer.

Bryce and I are busy with the kids and life in general, here is Bryce a couple of months ago with a cougar he shot with his bow and arrow. He is also roping quite a bit and loves spending time with the kids and the horses. Summer is one of our favorite times of year, lots of fun things to do, and lots of time to spend as a family.

Starting to BLOG!

This is our first post and we are really excited to keep everyone up to date on what we are up to. Our family loves to be together, we enjoy being outside and are really looking forward to spring. Our newest hobby is HORSES and RODEO. The kids are learning to rope and goat tie, something that is brand new to Sarah, but an old love for Bryce that has now returned.

Here is Annie on her horse BUCK, she may look tiny on that big horse, but she is a go getter (get's that from her Dad) and has done really well in Jr. Rodeo.

Here is our Ben, OH BEN, he keeps us all on our toes and is determined and head strong. He loves riding with his Dad and roping anything that moves!

And here is our sweet little Ellie, she has been a true joy in our home and is definitely heaven sent. She loves her brother and sister and is bound for the rodeo life. Sarah wanted a ballerina, but it looks like she is getting cowgirls instead!
